The Third Ibero-American Forum on Research and Design aims to continue mapping research and design in the region. It seeks to do so with a 360° perspective. It offers a glimpse into research and design
that is as open as our culture, filled with differences that complement and enrich it.
This is demonstrated by the quality and variety
of projects selected in the previous two editions
of the Forum.
Forum Locations Casa de América,
Instituto Cervantes.
Madrid, España.
Research and Design in Universities
This itinerary invites universities, professors, and students to submit their best research and design projects
to be included in this great map.
Research by design professionals and companies
This itinerary also calls upon design professionals and companies, large or small, to share their project-related research that will enrich the Ibero-American Design Map. Together with design, this research will reflect the region’s economic activity and daily life.
Research and Design from institutions, companies, and startups from other industries
A design map should also include a review of projects created and developed by companies in other economic sectors, as well as startups, private institutions, and public institutions that support initiatives and design work, and, consequently, research. These projects are shaping a third essential axis for design and research in Ibero-America.
