The Design Research Forum will hold its second edition this November 2024. Organized by Iberoamérica Diseña, the first association of Ibero-American designers.
Its mission is to continue promoting Ibero-American design worldwide, highlighting multiculturalism as its hallmark.
The call seeks innovative and significant contributions to incorporate into the map of design and research being drawn in Ibero-America, connecting the most significant points of activity that already form a social and ollective narrative.

For four exciting days at the Instituto Cervantes and the Casa de América in Madrid, we will explore research in which design has been crucial, contributing to knowledge and development in areas such as business, education, public organizations, technological centers, and culture.
We are excited to discover together how design research has promoted continuous improvements in the development of society, economic, social, technological, and productive systems. It will be fascinating to learn about your experiences and understand how this discipline is having a transformative impact on Ibero-American societies.

Join us to interact with leaders who have integrated design as an essential value in the development of their initiatives in collective culture and economy. Each day will feature opening interventions by high-impact experts, followed by presentations of academic research, professional projects, and collective initiatives addressing complex issues. The event will include workshops on the new crossroads of design research and its role in activating innovative solutions.
The call is also aimed at projects generated by companies and professionals that open new paths to research, innovation, and design.
